  I don't consider myself an expert by any means on pho, but (my friends will tell u) I'm pretty particular about it, and it's one of the only things that makes me feel better when I'm sick.
  
  According to some previous reviews there's an inconsistency with the broth & noodles. I must have come on a good day because it was great. Packed with flavor, clear, no oil floating on top & not too sweet from the spices added. Someone was paying attention to this broth & the quality of the meat as well. No grizzle & no strange rainbow colors running through. I got a regular sized bowl of tai & was so full I'm glad I didn't get the larger portion.
  
  A nice woman greeted me at the counter & pointed to a small table just for me. She must be the big boss since she handles all the money. :)
  
  A quick bite, a little more expensive than what I'm used to paying, but def. worth a second try for sammies & other dishes. Just hope I don't go on a bad day. I'll be sure to take Imodium with me just in case.

  The pho here is a little bit more on the pricier end just with regards to the rest of the pho restaurants in San Diego, and it is average, nothing out of the ordinary. My friend ordered Bun Bo Hue and the waiter asked "how spicy do you want it on a scale from 1-10" and my friend, who is Vietnamese, was taken aback because this dish is supposed to be spicy beef noodle soup...So she said 5 and when the soup came out it looked really bland and we both agreed that it tasted exactly like the pho soup with added spicy sauce...it was not Bun Bo Hue:(
  
  BUT I ordered the combination fried rice and that was some really tasty fried rice!! It was so flavorful and the bbq pork in it was sweet and really yummy. Would highly recommend trying the combination fried rice (came in a large portion as well) but this may not be the best place for noodles.

  Lovely.
  Staying at the Sheraton next door and pulled in lateish after a 7-hour drive. Was thrilled they were open until 11 pm. The service cleared my bleary eyes and I waked out with a huge smile on my face.
  I love being reminded that humans are, in fact, overwhelmingly kind.
  The food was great--veg pho was substantial and tasty, vegan egg rolls were ridiculously good. Like, for real.

  Excellent beef soup noodle with many options and combinations. I tried their Hoi Nam Chicken. It is a bit too blank and over cooked . I am disappointed. Their fried egg rolls are good portion , but a bit too oily . Beef noodle  soup is the best . I can only finish half and half to go . They charge you 25 cents for the container . I bring my own glass container to avoid using more plastic container .

  This is the easiest pho place accessible to UCSD students by the 201 bus. It has HUGE portions and they load their bowls of pho with large meat portions.
  
  Combination Pho: 3.5/5
  It has alot of meat which is my favorite part but the noodles and soup are just average.

  The service really brought this place up to a four star. They recently began adding shrimp in all their soup noodles. I have eaten the combination pho multiple times and did not expect to find shrimp in my bowl during my most recent experience. I am allergic to shrimp so I asked the waiter to if it was possible to have my food without shrimp. They made me a new bowl and everything worked out well!
